Oak External Double Door Frame And Aquamac Seal

The External Oak Double Door Frame is the perfect solution for fitting an external door that is either extra wide or a set of double doors. This door frame kit is suitable for most external door sizes, up to 2m wide, so you can be confident this universal frame will fit your new door. The frame will fit any door or door pair up to 2060mm high x 2000mm wide x 50mm deep, and the frame will arrive as an unassembled kit, so you get maximum flexibility when installing the frame. 

The kit includes an Aquamac weather sealing strip, stop lats, and an oak sill, so you will have everything necessary to correctly fit this frame.

Constructed from high-grade oak timber, this double door frame is built to last by using lamination of 2 pieces of solid oak, ensuring the frame can withstand the harsh external environment. The oak selected for use in this product will be predominantly clear with the occasional knot, giving the door a bit of real oak characteristics.

This frame will arrive unfinished, so you have the option to select the kind of finish and look you’d like to achieve. We advise that you pre-finish your external door frame with our Impranol External Treatment Value Pack to get the longest use from your new frame. Once your external door frame is finished, all you will need to do is fit the frame to your door opening, and you will be ready to fit your new external door.

If the external door that you are fitting is 2032mm x 880mm or less, you will be better suited to selecting the Single External Solid Oak Door Frame, as it will create less waste than trimming down the frame by half.

Our solid oak pair maker is the perfect way to turn two individual doors into a pair. By fixing the pair maker to the edge of the door, which commonly remains closed, it allows you to achieve a seamless finish rather than leaving a gap that can let light pass through.

Fitting a pair of doors is an extremely effective way of giving your home some character and increasing the feeling of spaciousness. It is a particularly common feature in barn conversions and traditionally styled homes.

Our pair maker is supplied pre-sanded and unfinished. This provides you with the chance to finish it to match your doors before fitting. We highly recommend treating your pair maker alongside your new internal doors to ensure that the finish is consistent across both your doors and pair maker with high-quality oils and waxes.

Please Note: The Pairmaker is suitable for doors of 35mm thickness and will add 10mm width to the attached door.

Please be aware as wood is a natural product there will be variations in both the colour and the grain.

Many of our customers order a sample with Treatex samples to test the colours against the wood. This can save you both time and money during the fitting process as you will already know what colour and how many coats you require.

Our FD30 rated prefinished oak internal door frame is a fantastic way to easily fit a new frame in your home. With a quality American white oak veneer finish, you can match this door frame to any of our internal veneer doors. Made from softwood core, this door frame is structurally sound and guaranteed to withstand fire for a minimum of 30 minutes. This lining set features removable stops, so that you can use a variety of doors with different thicknesses. 

This prefinished oak door lining has pre-cut grooves which are design to fit a 15 x 4mm intumescent seal which is included with this product. The intumescent strip will prevent smoke seeping through the gaps in the door. Tested to the following standards:

We offer a range of oak window sills which are created from the very best solid, prime grade, kiln dried American Oak, which offers a beautiful natural grain appearance. Our window sills are machined with a rounded front profile and are supplied unfinished (planed smooth but not treated), ready to be finished with an oil, lacquer, paint or varnish of your choice. This enables you to finish the window sill so that it complements your existing window frames, skirting boards, and other interior features.

Our oak window boards are constructed using three solid planks, which have been edge-glued together, meaning that the three planks are glued with industrial-strength glue on the narrow edge to create one large board. We chose this method as it is the most sustainable and leaves no wasted wood. One single board of solid oak involves using more timber than necessary, as a single plank would need to be trimmed down to size, rendering all the trimmed wood unusable. We pride ourselves on offering the most sustainable options in the construction of our products, and this method is the best for the environment. Due to the nature of this method, the 3 boards may display different grain patterns or slight variations in the shade of the oak. Our team always endeavours to select the closest matching oak boards when constructing this product, whilst allowing the variation in grain to bring a bit of character to the wood.

Oak window sills are available in lengths up to 2.5m with varying depths up to 250mm and thicknesses of 25mm and 32mm. Our window sills can be used as a feature window seat and are a great way to add a finishing touch to an interior refit, whilst the wood grain adds some character and helps to make a property more homely and warm. We never use veneers in our window sills, and you may notice some variation in the grain pattern and colour of the board. This is due to the fact that the window sill is constructed with 3 planks of solid oak, which are edge glued together with ultra-strong glue on the narrow edge to create one single larger board. We choose to use this method of construction rather than using one whole plank of wood as it is the most environmentally friendly option. Using a single plank of wood would involve trimming down a large piece of timber, leaving the remaining wood unusable and wasted. When constructing the windowsills, our team always makes the effort to select the closest matching boards so the difference is minimal, but we think the variation brings a bit of character to the wood! 

The window sills are supplied with a machined, rounded front edge and are unfinished, allowing you to oil, lacquer, varnish, or paint them in the finish of your choice. This allows you to personalise the window sill to complement your existing interior finish or to create a standout, focal feature.

All of our oak window sills can be purchased in lengths of up to 2.5m, and this specific sill has a 250mm depth and 25mm thickness. Supplied unfinished, our solid oak window sills offer the opportunity for you to finish them on-site so that they can be matched with your current wood features or to stand out against your existing interior colour scheme. All of our window sills have a machined and rounded front profile to give a smooth look. They are supplied pre-sanded for easy finishing and can be purchased in a number of different dimensions. All of our window sills are machined from first grade (the very best), kiln dried solid American Oak which gives them both a beautiful finish and fantastic durability. We opt for an edge glued construction method on our window sills as we are always looking to use the most sustainable and environmentally friendly options when building our products. This method allows us to reduce the waste of timber as much as possible by using three solid planks of wood, which have been matched as closely as possible. The boards are then glued together with industrial strength glue on the narrowest edge to create one large plank of wood.

This is to allow for any miscuts or short lengths you may end up with during the installation process.

Oklahoma Internal Door Handle

The Oklahoma door lever can be found within our Economy Range and is one of the latest Black Nickel handles to join this range of products. The craftsmanship of this piece is second to none with the 52mm rose sharing this quality; this product will look tremendous against any modern door within your home.

The length of the lever measures at 131mm and you will receive everything you need to fit both levers onto your single door, including a spindle usable for doors with up to a thickness of 65mm and the suitable fixings and fittings needed.
