Belize Prefinished Oak 5 Panel FD60 Internal Fire Door

The Belize Prefinished Oak 5 Panel FD60 Internal Fire Door brings a bold five-panel geometric face together with up to 60 minutes of fire resistance. It is one of our modern oak internal doors, with a clean, contemporary look that has become a favourite in modern homes while still sitting comfortably in more traditional rooms, and it arrives prefinished and ready to hang. It suits contemporary interiors that need a higher level of fire protection.

Like every genuine fire door, the Belize is not solid oak. A solid, fire-resisting core sits behind an oak veneer face and oak lippings: the core delivers the fire performance and the veneer gives the warm oak look, and being a natural material, expect some variation in grain and tone from door to door. It sits neatly against oak skirting and architrave in a matching tone.

The Belize is rated FD60, giving up to 60 minutes of fire resistance when correctly installed, and it performs to that rating only as part of a complete, fitted fire-door set. It is built on a denser 54mm core, so the leaf is heavier, and it needs a matched FD60 frame, the correct fire-rated hinges and intumescent strips with smoke seals; an FD30 frame is not rated for this door. Hang it on three hinges as a minimum, and source the matched fire set alongside the ironmongery from our door handles and hardware.

This FD60 Belize is trimmable to fit by up to 5mm on each edge, so there is a small allowance to ease it into the opening, but no more than that: the fire-rated construction relies on the door staying close to its supplied size. It comes in standard widths to suit common openings.

The Belize is prefinished, so its faces arrive sealed and ready to hang. The hinge, latch and handle cut-outs, along with any trimmed edge, expose bare oak that must be resealed as you fit. Please note that this product is prefinished. When installing door fittings and/or trimming the door size, be sure to treat newly exposed surfaces with a Hardwax oil to reseal those areas. The doors displayed on our website vary in appearance due to the different finishes being used by ourselves and customers alike; in addition to the natural qualities of the wood, this will also contribute to the door's appearance. For Standard deliveries, you will receive contact from the courier prior to delivery. For Express deliveries, you will not receive contact from the courier, with the aim to avoid delays in the Express delivery.

If you have chosen additional options for your items such as prefinishing, please allow up to an additional 10 working days for delivery. This will depend on the number of in-house oiling requests and the chosen finish which will affect the number of coats and required drying time.

Generally delivery is a weekday service. Couriers may however operate on weekends during busy periods. As such, we are unable to offer weekend deliveries, but this may be offered by the courier if they call to arrange your delivery date and time. Please note that your delivery will be made to the kerbside. As such, please ensure you can move your order to a secure location.

All delivery times given are based on orders being placed before 12-midday and the lead times are from once your order has been dispatched, not placed.

As unforeseen circumstances can, on the rare occasion, cause delivery issues, we do not recommend booking any tradesmen until your items have been delivered.

Flooring Delivery

Delivery is typically 7-10 days from order date. Your flooring will normally come on a pallet and be shipped using a kerbside delivery. We will call you before delivery to agree a date that suits as someone will need to be available to help offload. Please remember that our solid oak flooring is particularly thick and therefore very heavy. 65m2 will weigh approximately 1 tonne/1000kg.
