Accessories for Internal Fire Doors
A fire door only holds its rating as a complete, correctly fitted assembly, so the frame, seals and ironmongery matter as much as the door leaf itself. This collection brings together the fire-rated frames, linings, intumescent seals, hinges, latches and door plates that finish an internal fire doorset. Everything here is chosen to work with our FD30 and FD60 oak fire doors, and each part should be fitted in line with the door maker's instructions and your building's fire strategy.
Fire-rated frames, linings and lips
Our oak fire frames come in FD30 and FD60 formats, in unfinished and prefinished oak, so you can match them to a new leaf or an existing opening. The oak is a veneer over an engineered core built for the fire rating, and each frame is routed to take an intumescent seal. Hardwood lips let you trim and hang fire door blanks without compromising the certified construction. Full framing options sit in our Oak Fire Door Frames, Linings & Casings collection.
Intumescent and smoke seals
Intumescent seals expand under heat to close the gap between door and frame, while smoke seals add cold-smoke protection during the early stages of a fire. We stock single intumescent strips, multi-packs sized for FD60 linings, combined fire and smoke seals, and drop seals for the threshold. The full range lives in our Fire Door Strips & Seals collection.
Hinges, latches and door plates
Fire doors are heavier than standard doors and need CE-marked, fire-rated hinges sized for the weight of the leaf. Our hinge and latch packs pair the correct hinges with a fire-rated latch in matching finishes, and separate fire hinges let you replace like for like from our Fire Door Hinges range. Push and kick plates protect the faces of high-traffic doors, with more finishes in our Finger Plates collection.
Fire door signs
Mandatory "Fire Door Keep Shut" and "Keep Clear" signs identify the door and how it should be used, on both faces. Ours are satin stainless steel so they sit discreetly against oak and painted doors alike.

Fire Door Accessory FAQs
Yes. Fire doors are heavier and must hang on CE-marked, fire-rated hinges, usually three per leaf, sized for the door's weight. Our hinge and latch packs and individual fire hinges meet the requirement for FD30 and FD60 leaves.
It is a strip fitted into a groove in the frame or door edge. Under heat it expands to seal the gap and hold back fire, and a combined smoke seal also blocks cold smoke. The size and type must match the door's fire test, so check the leaf's fitting instructions.
They are chosen to suit our FD30 and FD60 oak fire doors. A fire door is only certified as a complete assembly, so always confirm the frame, seals and ironmongery against the specific door's manufacturer instructions before fitting.
