Made to measure doors in beautiful oak

Our bespoke oak doors are made to measure, custom made to the exact width and height of your opening rather than the nearest size a warehouse happens to hold. That matters more often than people expect: older houses built before standard sizes settled, extensions and conversions where the structure came first, and any doorway that is taller, wider or narrower than a stock door. Every door is made to order in oak and sits within our wider range of oak doors, so a run of doors can match right through the house.

Traditional and contemporary designs

Period and panelled rooms are best served by our traditional bespoke oak doors, which cover the four and six panel layouts and the one-over-three 1930s pattern. For newer interiors, the flat-panel and vertically grooved faces of our contemporary bespoke oak doors give a cleaner, quieter look. Because the door is made to your sizes, you can match a new design to the doors already hanging in the house.

Glazed doors and french pairs

Most designs come as a solid panel or with a glazed opening. Where you want to borrow daylight between rooms, our made to measure glazed oak doors carry a glazed section in place of a solid panel, and most solid designs have a half-glazed version so a run can mix the two. For an opening that takes a pair, our bespoke oak french doors are built to the full width you have.

How your bespoke door is made

Each door is built to order in oak, from prime grade solid oak through to fine oak-veneered designs, with the design, thickness and finish set for your order rather than picked from stock, so you can have a door in custom sizes to suit the opening. You can have it unfinished and pre-sanded, ready to oil once hung, or supplied with a hardwax oil finish already applied. Finish and complete your doors
