A flush door has a completely flat face: no panels, no mouldings, no pattern pressed into the surface. The doors in this collection are faced in real oak over a core, the construction that keeps a flush face flat, and each product page states its own build.
Overview to Flush Doors
- A flush door is completely flat, with no panels or raised mouldings.
- The doors are faced in real oak over a core; none is solid oak, and each product page states its build.
- Most arrive prefinished, so they can be hung without any treatment.
- The collection includes FD30 fire rated flush doors.
- Clear glazed designs and a bi-fold option sit alongside the plain doors.
Flush or panelled?
A panelled door decorates the face; a flush door removes it. In a modern interior the flat face reads as calm and lets walls, floors and furniture do the talking. A moulded door imitates panels by pressing the pattern into a skin, so if you want the panelled look, a real panel door in solid oak does it properly. If you want the flat look, this is the page.
Prefinished and ready to hang
Most of these internal flush doors arrive already treated. That means no oiling, no staining and no waiting: the door can be hung the day it arrives, in the same finish across every door you order. One unfinished FD30 option is there for anyone who wants to take the colour their own way.
FD30 flush fire doors
This collection includes FD30 fire rated flush doors across several of its ranges. A fire door is never solid oak; it is an oak face over a certified core, and the specification table on each product states the rating. The full certified range, including frames and matching hardware, is in our fire doors collection.
Glazed and bi-fold options
Clear glazed flush doors pass daylight between rooms without giving up the flat face, and the bi-fold option folds away where a swinging door would not fit. For a door that slides along the wall instead, see our oak sliding door kits.
Fitting and finishing touches
Handles and knobs covers the pulls and levers, and door hinges and latches complete the set. The full range of styles and constructions is in oak internal doors.
