Traditional Oak Weather Bar

(102647)

£23.50 (inc VAT)

Estimated delivery between August 01 and August 03.

size

A weather bar finishes an external door properly, deflecting driving rain away from the threshold and closing the gap where draughts and water would otherwise find their way underneath.

About the Traditional Oak Weather Bar

This traditional bar has a softer, stepped profile that echoes the detailing found on period and cottage joinery, giving a more decorative line than the squared contemporary bar. It is machined from solid oak so the grain and warmth match our external oak doors, and the finished door looks complete rather than added to. Fitted along the foot of the door, it throws water clear of the threshold and helps keep the floor behind the door dry. It measures 915 x 60 x 40mm and is supplied sanded but unfinished.

Finishing & Care

Treat the weather bar on all faces at the same time as the door, using a treatment made for external use so it stays stable and colour-matched to the door. We recommend the Impranol range for external timber.

Like our external doors, this weather bar must be treated before fitting and kept protected once installed. For full guidelines, please visit our External Door Protection Page.
