Pattern 10 Glazed Oak Bi-Fold Door

The Pattern 10 Glazed Oak Bi-Fold Door is a glazed folding door that opens up an internal space and lets light pass between rooms. It is one of our oak bifold doors, made from two leaves hinged together that concertina back along a track, opening up a room where a standard swing door would get in the way. That makes it a bright, practical choice for a room divider, a study, or a utility or pantry, where borrowed light is welcome but a full swing is not. It is faced in oak veneer over an engineered solid core, so the clean single-pane Pattern 10 face carries natural oak grain and warmth around the glass rather than a flat, featureless frame.

The large single glazed pane gives the Pattern 10 its simple, contemporary look, and it sits within our contemporary oak internal doors range, so it pairs easily with matching solid and glazed doors elsewhere in the home. The glazing is clear toughened safety glass, set within the oak leaves, and once fitted the door sits neatly against oak skirting and architrave in a matching tone.

It is supplied with a slim aluminium track and full fitting instructions, in two widths at 35mm thick, with a 2mm trimming allowance on each side. The overall height of 1981mm includes the track, which helps when it is replacing a standard door, and the two leaves arrive factory pre-hinged for smooth folding. The door takes a lever handle to suit, so you can match the ironmongery from our door handles and hardware.

The door is supplied unfinished, so seal every face and edge, including the top, bottom and folding edges, before it goes into use, keeping any oil off the glass. A suitable hardwax oil such as Treatex is all it needs, and any edge you trim should be re-treated as this exposes fresh oak; avoid stain, varnish or paint, as these are unsuitable and can void the warranty. Because it’s important that our products get to you in perfect condition and on time, we only work with trusted, reliable delivery companies who have an excellent reputation. To allow you to spend where it matters, the cheapest available delivery option will automatically be selected at the checkout stage. Don’t forget that orders over £750 will qualify for free shipping!

*We apply a shipping surcharge of £35.00 to certain postcodes for door orders and £25 for timber only orders, which can also add an additional 5 working days to the delivery lead time, see our delivery page for more information.

For Standard deliveries, you will receive contact from the courier prior to delivery. For Express deliveries, you will not receive contact from the courier, with the aim to avoid delays in the Express delivery.

If you have chosen additional options for your items such as prefinishing, please allow up to an additional 10 working days for delivery. This will depend on the number of in-house oiling requests and the chosen finish which will affect the number of coats and required drying time.

Generally delivery is a weekday service. Couriers may however operate on weekends during busy periods. As such, we are unable to offer weekend deliveries, but this may be offered by the courier if they call to arrange your delivery date and time. Please note that your delivery will be made to the kerbside. As such, please ensure you can move your order to a secure location.

All delivery times given are based on orders being placed before 12-midday and the lead times are from once your order has been dispatched, not placed.

As unforeseen circumstances can, on the rare occasion, cause delivery issues, we do not recommend booking any tradesmen until your items have been delivered.

Flooring Delivery

Delivery is typically 7-10 days from order date. Your flooring will normally come on a pallet and be shipped using a kerbside delivery. We will call you before delivery to agree a date that suits as someone will need to be available to help offload. Please remember that our solid oak flooring is particularly thick and therefore very heavy. 65m2 will weigh approximately 1 tonne/1000kg.
