Pamplona Oak Fire Door

The Pamplona is a contemporary oak fire door with a distinctive face, gentle curves in the vertical veneers cutting a subtle waist into the horizontal panels. Rated FD30 for up to 30 minutes of fire resistance, it arrives prefinished and ready to hang, and sits within our modern oak internal doors. It is faced in oak veneer over a solid, fire-resisting core, so it is never solid oak.

Like every genuine fire door, the Pamplona is built around a solid, fire-resisting core, faced with oak veneer and edged with oak lippings; the core carries the strength and fire performance while the oak face brings natural grain and warmth. It pairs neatly with oak skirting and architrave in a matching tone, is FSC certified, and carries a 10 year manufacturer guarantee against defects.

The FD30 rating holds only when the door hangs as a complete fitted set, so it needs a fire-rated frame or lining, the correct fire-rated hinges and intumescent strips and smoke seals around the leaf, on three hinges as a minimum. FD30 suits most homes, and where 60 minutes is specified an FD60 door is needed.

It takes a lever handle, so you can match the ironmongery from our door handles and hardware, and it has a generous trimming allowance of up to 15mm on each edge to help fit a slightly out-of-square opening.

Being prefinished, the faces arrive sealed and ready to hang, though cutting in the hinges, latch and handle, and trimming to size, exposes bare oak that must be sealed as you fit. Please note that this product is prefinished. When installing door fittings and/or trimming the door size, be sure to treat newly exposed surfaces with a Hardwax oil to reseal those areas. The doors displayed on our website vary in appearance due to the different finishes being used by ourselves and customers alike; in addition to the natural qualities of the wood, this will also contribute to the door’s appearance. To allow you to spend where it matters, the cheapest available delivery option will automatically be selected at the checkout stage. Don’t forget that orders over £750 will qualify for free shipping!

For Standard deliveries, you will receive contact from the courier prior to delivery. For Express deliveries, you will not receive contact from the courier, with the aim to avoid delays in the Express delivery.

If you have chosen additional options for your items such as prefinishing, please allow up to an additional 10 working days for delivery. This will depend on the number of in-house oiling requests and the chosen finish which will affect the number of coats and required drying time.

Generally delivery is a weekday service. Couriers may however operate on weekends during busy periods. As such, we are unable to offer weekend deliveries, but this may be offered by the courier if they call to arrange your delivery date and time. Please note that your delivery will be made to the kerbside. As such, please ensure you can move your order to a secure location.

All delivery times given are based on orders being placed before 12-midday and the lead times are from once your order has been dispatched, not placed.

As unforeseen circumstances can, on the rare occasion, cause delivery issues, we do not recommend booking any tradesmen until your items have been delivered.

Flooring Delivery

Delivery is typically 7-10 days from order date. Your flooring will normally come on a pallet and be shipped using a kerbside delivery. We will call you before delivery to agree a date that suits as someone will need to be available to help offload. Please remember that our solid oak flooring is particularly thick and therefore very heavy. 65m2 will weigh approximately 1 tonne/1000kg.
