Every external door needs a frame that can stand up to the weather, and this solid oak version does it with the warmth and grain of real oak, supplied complete with a matching cill.

About the Oak External Door Frame & Cill

Machined from solid oak, this frame brings the same character and quality you would expect from an oak door to the surround that holds it. It arrives complete with an oak cill, so water is thrown clear of the threshold and the door sits properly within a coordinated, all-oak opening. Solid oak is a dense, characterful timber that stands up well to exterior use once treated and fitted. The frame measures 2113 x 962 x 44mm and is supplied sanded but unfinished.

Finishing & Care

The frame is supplied unfinished. Treat it on all faces before fitting, using a treatment made for external use so it stands up to sun and rain and matches your door. We recommend the Impranol range for external timber.
