Product Details

Description

The Majestic Oak Sidelight is the matching companion to the Majestic door, with a lead double-glazed panel and raised moulding in a warm American white oak face, to build a grander, wider entrance.

About the Majestic Sidelight

A lead double-glazed panel with raised moulding, this 1-light sidelight is designed to sit beside the Majestic door and widen the opening while keeping the same period character. It is a fixed panel rather than an opening door.

Engineered oak construction

The sidelight is an American white oak veneer over a solid engineered core, dowel jointed for strength. The engineered core keeps it stable through the seasons and resists the warping and twisting solid wood can suffer on an exposed elevation, while the oak face keeps the natural grain and character of oak. It is supplied sanded but unfinished, ready to seal in your chosen finish, and can be trimmed to fit the opening.

Glazing

The sidelight is supplied pre-glazed, with its factory lead double-glazed unit already fitted, so there is no separate glazing to arrange. The leaded sealed unit matches the Majestic door and adds the insulation of double glazing.

Finishing & Care

As it is supplied unfinished, protect every face and edge of the sidelight with a treatment made for external use before it is fitted; we recommend the Impranol range for external doors.

Like our external doors, this sidelight must be treated before being fitted, retreated every six months and kept dry at all times through the use of a canopy or similar. For full guidelines, please visit our External Door Protection Page.

If you have chosen additional options for your items such as prefinishing, please allow up to an additional 10 working days for delivery. This will depend on the number of in-house oiling requests and the chosen finish which will affect the number of coats and required drying time.

Generally delivery is a weekday service. Couriers may however operate on weekends during busy periods. Please note that your delivery will be made to the kerbside. As such, please ensure you can move your order to a secure location.

All delivery times given are based on orders being placed before 12-midday and the lead times are from once your order has been dispatched, not placed.

Delivery is typically 7-10 days from order date. Your flooring will normally come on a pallet and be shipped using a kerbside delivery. We will call you before delivery to agree a date that suits as someone will need to be available to help offload.
