Description

The Lincoln Prefinished Oak FD30 Internal Fire Door brings a traditional panelled look to doorways that need fire protection, finished at the factory in a clear lacquer and built on a 30 minute fire core.

About the Lincoln Prefinished Oak Fire Door

The Lincoln carries subtle panel detailing for a traditional feel over an oak veneer face that shows the natural grain and warmth of oak. It arrives prefinished with a clear protective lacquer, so there is no sanding, oiling or painting before it goes up, and it is built on an FD30 fire core for 30 minutes of protection.

Oak veneer face

The face is a natural oak veneer, finished with a clear factory lacquer that protects the surface while keeping the grain on show.

Engineered FD30 core

Beneath the veneer sits a solid engineered FD30 fire core. This is an oak veneer over an engineered fire core, not solid oak, and it holds back the spread of fire and smoke for up to 30 minutes while giving the door its weight and stability.

FD30 fire protection

An FD30 rating means the door is built to resist the spread of fire and smoke for up to 30 minutes. It performs only as part of a complete fitted set, hung in the correct fire-rated frame with the right hinges and intumescent seals.

Sizes

Available in three sizes, all 44mm thick: 1981 x 686mm, 1981 x 762mm and 1981 x 838mm. As a fire door the Lincoln should not be trimmed, so order the nearest size and fit it to the frame.

Finishing & Care

Supplied prefinished, the Lincoln needs no treatment before hanging. Keep it clean with a soft, dry cloth and avoid harsh or abrasive cleaners so the lacquer stays sound.

Because it’s important that our products get to you in perfect condition and on time, we only work with trusted, reliable delivery companies who have an excellent reputation. To allow you to spend where it matters, the cheapest available delivery option will automatically be selected at the checkout stage. Don’t forget that orders over £750 will qualify for free shipping!

For Standard deliveries, you will receive contact from the courier prior to delivery. For Express deliveries, you will not receive contact from the courier, with the aim to avoid delays in the Express delivery.

If you have chosen additional options for your items such as prefinishing, please allow up to an additional 10 working days for delivery. This will depend on the number of in-house oiling requests and the chosen finish which will affect the number of coats and required drying time.

Generally delivery is a weekday service. Couriers may however operate on weekends during busy periods. As such, we are unable to offer weekend deliveries, but this may be offered by the courier if they call to arrange your delivery date and time. Please note that your delivery will be made to the kerbside. As such, please ensure you can move your order to a secure location.

All delivery times given are based on orders being placed before 12-midday and the lead times are from once your order has been dispatched, not placed.

As unforeseen circumstances can, on the rare occasion, cause delivery issues, we do not recommend booking any tradesmen until your items have been delivered.

Flooring Delivery

Delivery is typically 7-10 days from order date. Your flooring will normally come on a pallet and be shipped using a kerbside delivery. We will call you before delivery to agree a date that suits as someone will need to be available to help offload. Please remember that our solid oak flooring is particularly thick and therefore very heavy. 65m2 will weigh approximately 1 tonne/1000kg.
