Every external door needs a frame that can stand up to the weather, and this one is built for it, supplied complete with a matching cill and weather seal.

About the Hardwood External Door Frame & Cill

The frame is machined from premium red hardwood, a dense, stable timber well suited to exterior use that resists movement once treated and fitted. It arrives complete with the cill and a weather seal, so you have everything needed to hang an external door and keep the elements out. The cill throws water clear of the threshold while the seal closes the frame against draughts and rain, so the door performs as well as it looks. The section depth is 68mm.

Sized to suit your door

Choose the size to match your door from the options above. The range covers our standard stock-size external doors, so you can pair the frame to the door you are fitting. If you need a size outside the range, contact our sales team about a bespoke frame.

Finishing & Care

The frame is supplied unfinished. Treat it on all faces before fitting, using a treatment made for external use so it stands up to sun and rain. We recommend the Impranol range for external timber.
