Due to its versatility, our Cottage style External Solid Oak Door is ideal if you’re looking to add a contemporary or traditional look to your house or barn conversion, and is perfect for period, country, or listed properties.

Crafted from 100% solid oak, the intricate details of the wood are visible and will add real character to the exterior of your home. A diverse range of natural hues, colour shades, and beautifully detailed knots not only showcase the natural beauty of the wood but also demonstrate its true quality.Ā

Made from PEFC Certified Oak, the doors feature tongue and groove construction with V-Groove Profile. They’re handmade this way to prevent warping of the door over time. We understand that security is also very important to consider when you’re looking to buy an external door. This product is not only rugged and sturdy, but thick enough for security locks.

As our external doors are made from real oak, it’s recommended that they are not used in exposed areas, particularly those areas exposed to direct sunlight or rainfall.

Please follow these treatment and maintenance instructions to preserve the beauty and strength of the wood.

External Doors are supplied unfinished. You will need to use a treatment suitable for external doors; we recommend the Impranol range for External doors. Click here for Impranol.

We also supply an Oak Weatherbar to match the door, which will be required should the door be "open to the elements". Sold separately as not everyone will need one...ie if your door is situated within an enclosed porch. Click here to browse our Weatherbars.

Our external doors must be treated before being hung, retreated every six months, and kept dry at all times through the use of a canopy or similar. For full guidelines, please visit our External Door Protection Page.
