Description

The Cotswold Unfinished Oak 6 Panel FD30 Internal Fire Door brings the cottage style Cotswold to doorways that need fire protection, in unfinished oak with six vertical grooves and oak lippings.

About the Cotswold Unfinished Oak Fire Door

The same six vertical groove cottage look as the standard Cotswold, built on an FD30 fire core for 30 minutes of protection. Supplied unfinished, it is ready to seal in your chosen finish, with oak lippings on the edges.

Oak veneer face

The face is a natural oak veneer that shows the grain and warmth of oak. It is supplied unfinished, so you can seal it in the colour and sheen you choose.

Engineered FD30 core

Beneath the veneer sits a solid engineered FD30 fire core. This holds back the spread of fire and smoke for up to 30 minutes and gives the door its stability in everyday use.

FD30 fire protection

An FD30 rating means the door is built to resist the spread of fire and smoke for up to 30 minutes. It performs only as part of a complete fitted set, hung in the correct fire-rated frame with the right hinges and intumescent seals.

Sizes

Available in three standard sizes, all 44mm thick: 1981 x 686mm, 1981 x 762mm and 1981 x 838mm.

Finishing & Care

Supplied unfinished, this door should be treated before it is hung and then refreshed periodically to keep it protected. Seal any edges you trim as you fit it. We recommend an oil from our Treatex Hardwax or Osmo Hardwax ranges, our tried and tested choice for oak internal doors.

For Standard deliveries, you will receive contact from the courier prior to delivery. For Express deliveries, you will not receive contact from the courier, with the aim to avoid delays in the Express delivery.

If you have chosen additional options for your items such as prefinishing, please allow up to an additional 10 working days for delivery. This will depend on the number of in-house oiling requests and the chosen finish which will affect the number of coats and required drying time.

Generally delivery is a weekday service. Couriers may however operate on weekends during busy periods. As such, we are unable to offer weekend deliveries, but this may be offered by the courier if they call to arrange your delivery date and time. Please note that your delivery will be made to the kerbside. As such, please ensure you can move your order to a secure location.

All delivery times given are based on orders being placed before 12-midday and the lead times are from once your order has been dispatched, not placed.

As unforeseen circumstances can, on the rare occasion, cause delivery issues, we do not recommend booking any tradesmen until your items have been delivered.

Flooring Delivery

Delivery is typically 7-10 days from order date. Your flooring will normally come on a pallet and be shipped using a kerbside delivery. We will call you before delivery to agree a date that suits as someone will need to be available to help offload. Please remember that our solid oak flooring is particularly thick and therefore very heavy. 65m2 will weigh approximately 1 tonne/1000kg.
