About the Contemporary Oak Weather Bar

This contemporary bar has a clean, squared profile that suits modern and minimally detailed doors, sitting neatly against the face without the stepped moulding of a traditional bar. It is machined from solid oak so the grain and tone match our external oak doors, and the finished door reads as one considered piece rather than a door with an accessory added to it. Fitted along the foot of the door, it deflects water away from the threshold and helps keep the floor behind the door dry. It measures 915 x 60 x 40mm and is supplied sanded but unfinished.

Finishing & Care

Treat the weather bar on all faces at the same time as the door, using a treatment made for external use so it stays stable against sun and rain and colour-matched to the door. We recommend the Impranol range for external timber.
