Description

Cambridge 1930's 1 Light Glazed Veneer Door

Homes with character benefit from thoughtful moments of light, where spaces feel connected without losing their separation. The Cambridge 1930's 1 Light Glazed Veneer Door brings that balance, and is one of our 1930s doors, combining period-inspired design with a light-enhancing single glazed panel.

Influenced by classic 1930s interiors, it has clean lines and subtle detailing centred on a single glazed panel. The glazing lets natural light filter between rooms, while the surrounding oak veneer frame provides warmth and structure. It is built on an engineered core for stability.

It complements a wide range of interiors, whether restoring a period property or adding a heritage detail to a modern home. Add the finishing touch with our door handles, latches and hinges, and complete the look with matching solid oak frames, linings and architrave.

Supplied unfinished, so finish it with a suitable hardwax oil such as Treatex, keeping the oil off the glass, and seal the edges before you hang it.

For Standard deliveries, you will receive contact from the courier prior to delivery. For Express deliveries, you will not receive contact from the courier, with the aim to avoid delays in the Express delivery.

If you have chosen additional options for your items such as prefinishing, please allow up to an additional 10 working days for delivery. This will depend on the number of in-house oiling requests and the chosen finish which will affect the number of coats and required drying time.

Generally delivery is a weekday service. Couriers may however operate on weekends during busy periods. As such, we are unable to offer weekend deliveries, but this may be offered by the courier if they call to arrange your delivery date and time. Please note that your delivery will be made to the kerbside. As such, please ensure you can move your order to a secure location.

All delivery times given are based on orders being placed before 12-midday and the lead times are from once your order has been dispatched, not placed.

As unforeseen circumstances can, on the rare occasion, cause delivery issues, we do not recommend booking any tradesmen until your items have been delivered.

Flooring Delivery

Delivery is typically 7-10 days from order date.  Your flooring will normally come on a pallet and be shipped using a kerbside delivery.  We will call you before delivery to agree a date that suits as someone will need to be available to help offload.  Please remember that our solid oak flooring is particularly thick and therefore very heavy.  65m2 will weigh approximately 1 tonne/1000kg.
