Description

Carini 1L Clear Glazed Oak Door

The Carini 1L is a contemporary glazed oak door built around a single large clear-glazed light framed by raised mouldings, a clean, uncomplicated face that borrows light between rooms. It is one of our modern oak internal doors, well suited to hallways and any space that could feel brighter and more open. The door is faced in oak veneer over a solid core, so the modern look comes with natural oak grain.

The glazed panel lets daylight pass from room to room while the raised mouldings give the face depth and structure. It comes in a choice of imperial and metric sizes to suit standard openings, each with a 10 year guarantee against manufacturing defects, and in a matching tone it sits neatly against oak skirting and architrave.

The Carini 1L hangs on standard hinges and takes a lever handle, so you can match the ironmongery from our door handles and hardware.

Any oak exposed while fitting, including trimmed edges and the hinge, latch and handle cut-outs, should be sealed with a suitable hardwax oil before the door goes into use. Our door treatments cover what to use, and the maintenance guide explains keeping it topped up.

To allow you to spend where it matters, the cheapest available delivery option will automatically be selected at the checkout stage. Don’t forget that orders over £750 will qualify for free shipping!

*We apply a shipping surcharge of £35.00 to certain postcodes for door orders and £25 for timber only orders, which can also add an additional 5 working days to the delivery lead time, see our delivery page for more information.

For Standard deliveries, you will receive contact from the courier prior to delivery. For Express deliveries, you will not receive contact from the courier, with the aim to avoid delays in the Express delivery.

If you have chosen additional options for your items such as prefinishing, please allow up to an additional 10 working days for delivery. This will depend on the number of in-house oiling requests and the chosen finish which will affect the number of coats and required drying time.

Generally delivery is a weekday service. Couriers may however operate on weekends during busy periods. As such, we are unable to offer weekend deliveries, but this may be offered by the courier if they call to arrange your delivery date and time. Please note that your delivery will be made to the kerbside. As such, please ensure you can move your order to a secure location.

All delivery times given are based on orders being placed before 12-midday and the lead times are from once your order has been dispatched, not placed.

As unforeseen circumstances can, on the rare occasion, cause delivery issues, we do not recommend booking any tradesmen until your items have been delivered.

Flooring Delivery

Delivery is typically 7-10 days from order date. Your flooring will normally come on a pallet and be shipped using a kerbside delivery. We will call you before delivery to agree a date that suits as someone will need to be available to help offload. Please remember that our solid oak flooring is particularly thick and therefore very heavy. 65m2 will weigh approximately 1 tonne/1000kg.
