Mylands have been manufacturing paints since 1884 with four generations of quality interior and exterior paints and coatings. They are the oldest, genuine paint manufacturer in GB still owned and managed by the same family. They have supplied to interior designers and scenic artists to film, television and theatre industries and are the trade's best kept secret. The colours created by Mylands have been made famous by TV programs such as Eastenders and Downton Abbey and Movies such as James Bond and Harry Potter.

All of Mylands water-based products are totally environmentally friendly. They are one of the last manufacturers to still use natural earth pigments in many of their paints. They have been one of the most proactive manufacturers in lowering VOC content in their paints, whilst maintaining a durability and hardwearing quality in their paints that mean they are as suitable for exterior use as for interior use - now that’s tough!
