Our Suffolk Solid Oak Interior Door is perfect if you’re looking to add a oak cottage style door into either a modern or traditional home. This product demonstrates the true quality of our solid internal oak doors, the natural beauty of the oak stands out against a strong and striking physical design.

Five vertical panels can give a clean and minimalist look to your internal space, which is enhanced with the free flowing natural grain. The variety of tones found within the wood can add warmth to a neutral styled interior and the prominent knots add further character.

The frame and ledge door design is just one of the unique characteristics of this Suffolk oak door. It boasts vertical panels on one side similar to that of a Mexicano door whilst maintaining it’s rustic cottage door charms with horizontal ledges on the reverse.

This vertical panel door is made from prime grade white oak, crafted using traditional techniques with a v-groove profile on the central boards. This solid oak door is not only striking to look at but you can also physically feel the quality and sturdiness, brought about by the mortice and tenon joints, screw and plugged centre brace and the true quality of this wooden oak door.

Available in either an unfinished pre-sanded version or a prefinished option, which is oiled by our in house experts using high quality hardwax oils to give you the perfect prefinished oak door. To complete the look of this prime grade oak door we recommend either a black beeswax finish ironmongery which is perfect for a traditional door home, or for the modern home a satin nickel finish would compliment this Suffolk door.

For your doors to be pre-treated, simply choose the Prefinished in step one.

Solid Oak Suffolk Unglazed Door

Solid oak 'Frame and Ledge' Suffolk style 1/2 glazed door, ideal to add a contemporary, stylish and modern look to all houses. The Suffolk style works well in a variety of property types.

Our Suffolk solid oak doors look great oiled or waxed as the grain detail really shines through. Please note these are 100% solid oak doors, not engineered or veneered. Once you see them you will see the difference.

Made from solid oak, the doors feature tongue and groove construction between the vertical boards with mortice and tenon joints used to make a strong frame.

These doors are approximately 35mm thick. All our oak internal doors are supplied untreated so that you can choose your favourite Oil or Wax Finish.

These doors are exactly the same as our regular Suffolk Doors but without the top panel, they are supplied unfinished and unglazed so you can choose your own colours and glazing patterns. We recommend the use of 6mm safety glass.

This product is available unfinished and sanded or alternatively you can choose for it to be pre-finished before delivery. Our in-house finishing service uses the same high-quality oils sold on our site. They offer an enhanced wood finish as well as excellent levels of protection.
