victorian-4-panel-richmond-clear-bevelled-glazed-prefinished-oak-door
Victorian 4 Panel Richmond Clear Bevelled Glazed Prefinished Oak Door

The Victorian 4 Panel Richmond Clear Bevelled Glazed Prefinished Oak Door brings a warm, traditional look into the home with the added brightness of clear bevelled glazing above two inset lower panels.

About the Richmond Clear Bevelled Glazed Oak Door

The glazed upper half keeps the design open and inviting, while the oak panels below give it a grounded, traditional feel. One of our Victorian doors, it is elegant and easy to place across a range of interiors. Supplied prefinished, it arrives ready to hang with its oak surface already applied.

Oak veneer face

The face is a natural oak veneer, finished at the factory so the grain and tone stay consistent from door to door. The prefinished surface is ready to install straight away and needs only light upkeep to stay protected.

Engineered core

Beneath the veneer sits a solid engineered core. This gives the door its stability and resists the twisting and warping that can affect lighter hollow doors, and it provides a sound base for hanging and for fitting handles and latches.

Glazing

The two upper panels are fitted with clear bevelled toughened safety glass, bringing light in above two solid lower panels. The glazing is supplied already fitted.

Sizes

Available in a range of standard sizes: 1981mm tall in widths of 686, 762 and 838mm, plus a 2032 x 813mm option, all 35mm thick. Each door can be trimmed by up to 8mm on each side, the top and the bottom to fit your opening; staying within that allowance keeps the core and the glazing sound.

Finishing & Care

As a prefinished door it arrives ready to install, but the surface should be refinished roughly every six months to keep it protected from daily wear. If you trim the door to size, give the cut edges a light coat of the same treatment so they stay sealed.
