oak-flush-20g-glazed-fd30-fire-door
Oak Flush 20G Glazed FD30 Fire Door

This is a flush oak fire door with glazing, so it meets fire regulations without shutting the light out of a hallway or landing. The flush face is finished in oak veneer over a fire-resisting engineered core, with a clear toughened safety-glass light set into the door. It gives you the clean, modern look of a flush oak door and a 30-minute fire rating in one, which is exactly what a lot of loft conversions and garage-to-house doorways need.

As an FD30 door it is built to hold back fire and smoke for 30 minutes, with a denser core and intumescent seals fitted on installation. It is 44mm thick and supplied prefinished and ready to hang; fire doors allow only limited trimming, so check the size carefully before ordering and follow the fitting guidance to keep the rating valid. The door carries a 10 year guarantee against manufacturing defects. You will find it alongside our other oak fire doors.

The door hangs on CE-marked fire-rated hinges and takes a compatible latch and handle, which you can match from our door handles and hardware. Use fire-rated ironmongery to keep the door's certification intact.

Being prefinished the faces are sealed, but any cut-out for hinges and the latch should be sealed with a suitable hardwax oil such as Treatex before the door is hung; our door treatments cover what to use.

Key Product Information

FD30 fire-rated flush oak door with a clear-glazed safety-glass light

Oak veneer over a fire-resisting engineered core, 44mm thick

Supplied prefinished and ready to hang

Intumescent seals fitted on installation; use fire-rated ironmongery

10 year manufacturer guarantee
